The Life and Times of Theodore

Old Videos in the Meantime

Before we start with any regular updates, I would like to post some old videos of Theodore. My top 5 favorites to be exact.

Number 5:
“Theodore’s World Premiere” Theodore was still just a baby back then and the first video Sarah ever took of him. It’s one of the few videos we have where his body was still all white. That, coupled with the fact of how small he looks, it’s just too cute.

Number 4:
“I love My Toy!” It was by accident that we discovered Theodore loved this particular type of key chain. It is a coil key chain that I got at work. I had it strapped to my belt loop while playing with him and he couldn’t get enough of it and just kept pulling at it. So I went and got another and he was inseparable from the thing for a long time. Now I think he has grown tired of it, but he will still pull at it if you dangle it in front of him. And it is still the only thing he will pick up and run with
.

Number 3:
“POOF!” The closest thing Theodore loves to raisins is getting pets. He will sit there and take it ever time. One day I discovered that if I were to pet him from back to front, his hair would stick out and make him look like a “poof.” He doesn’t mind it at all as he just takes the comfortable massage and enjoys it.

Number 2:
“Papaya Treats = Bunny Crack” The title really does say it all. Unfortunately, they do not make this exact type of treat anymore and Theodore doesn’t really care for the new kind that much
, but he still eats them. Back then, though, he would beg for those things and recognized the sound of the jar being rattled. He knew it was his delicious treats and nothing would stop him from getting them.

Number 1:
“RAISINS!” Theodore, if he could, would kill for raisins. It is his love and his addiction. He recognizes the jar they come in and taught himself how to lift the lid off. Whenever a jar runs out, we like to play a game with him in which we give him the empty jar to see him go nuts over it. It only lasts about a  minute because we don’t want to be cruel
, but we can’t help but laugh.

The voices in all the videos are ours, and we will make more in which you can see us playing and interacting with Theodore. Also, that more high-pitched voice is me again. I have done that voice pretty much since day one and it serves as “Theodore’s voice.” Sarah does it too and we base it off how we think Theodore is feeling from the way he is acting or looking. We find it funny, and no matter what, we won’t stop from doing it.

So there you have it. The first glimpse into the life and times of Theodore. Next we will be explaining why his nickname is “El Dwarfo.”
